The 13th Annual TIGER JILL Seminar ended December 5, 2003.

Pocket Jill was unveiled during the 13th Annual TIGER JILL Seminar December 3rd and 4th, 2003. Pocket Jill is Tiger Jill for Windows utilizing Windows CE. The data is entered in the field and then uploaded in the office to a desktop computer. The data can include pesticide application, soil, crop, cultural activity, trap counts, irrigation events, and other variables via the handheld device.

During the extensive and successful seminars instructors from Orange Enterprises, Inc had the opportunity to visit and to demonstrate the latest version of TIGER JILL to hundreds of users. The seminars were dedicated to Pest Control Advisers, Growers, Management companies, Food Companies, Consultants, Air and Ground Applicators, Chemical Retailers, and Managers.

Users were also introduced to our upcoming newest modules and features, Employee Tracking and Material Sales Commissions as well as the ability to record associated Harvest costs like crew, equipment used and charges. The Employee Tracking module will allow users to record in the application record their crew’s hours associated to that job. The Material Sales Commission will allow Retailers to accumulate salesman commissions within TIGER JILL.

Some extensive training was done on reconciling TIGER JILL accounts receivable and inventory balances. Then QuickBooks and Famous Interfaces were covered in detail as well as how to reconcile the two programs to each other.
