The 10th ANNUAL TIGER JILL Seminar ended December 7th,2000
A week of intensive and successful seminars ended on December 7, 2000. For 3 days Orange Enterprises, Inc
instructors has the opportunity to visit and to demonstrate the latest version 4.0 of Tiger Jill to hundreds
of users. From all over the country customers arrived to what is by now a tradition - the Tiger Jill Annual Seminar.
The seminar was dedicated for Pest Control Advisers, Growers, Management companies, Food Companies,
Consultants, Commercial Applicators, Chemical Retailers, and Managers.
During the Seminars Tiger Jill version 4.0 was presented with number of new Modules as well as some
major improvements to the Program the Reports and to the Help.
A New Spanish Module:
A New Equipment Module: It is used to record and track the use of equipment.
It is useful for keeping track of equipment maintenance performed and/or service needed using the equipment log.
It can generate reports tying equipment cost to specific applications. It can help to make decisions about costly
and extensive repairs needed on equipment by maintaining the history of each piece of equipment's repairs
A new automated update procedure via the Internet was
demonstrated - how a user can in minutes get on his computer the latest Program, Reports, Help and Data.
Electronically speaking - the ability to deploy the Connectivity module via e-mail was demonstrated.
Now any Tiger Jill user can send e-mail directly from his program to any other Tiger Jill user.
From the Pest Control Adviser a Recommendation can be e-mailed to the Grower or the Retailer directly from the Laptop
- in the field via cellular phone with a signature. A spray history record can travel electronically to a food processor
from his growers.
A new module: Residue Analysis. Advances in analytical chemistry methodology now allow us to detect the most minute trace amounts of pesticides. As this capacity
grows, so does public concern about toxic contamination, resulting in stricter government regulations and a growing demand for even
more sensitive, precise, and reliable analysis. Addressing the interplay between regulations and the development of analytical technology,
Tiger Jill New Modules used to record all pesticide application & residue measurement on each block for pre-harvest and post-harvest
crops. This record keeping system presents the most versatile software solution of the regulatory and analytical aspects of pesticide residues.
The seminar provided the platform to dive into the details of Tiger Jill scalability, flexibility,
security and power. Some of the seminar suggestion have been implemented into the program January 2001:
