Kevin Hudiburg – CMS Custom Spreading
Kevin has been using Tiger Jill for about 15 years to manage his ground application operation. This last year he has implemented Pocket Jill into his daily routine. Pocket Jill allows Kevin to enter his applications while in the field along with completion date and time, his crew and customer charges. Back in the office he quickly synchronizes his Pocket Jill with Tiger Jill and prints his daily invoices to send to the customers. The same data also provides him with his employee exposure information to monitor blood testing needed.

Sara Savary – Crop Care Associates
Sara as a Pest Control Advisor has been using Tiger Jill for about 5 years. She has been using Pocket Jill to record all types of measurements, such as trap counts, crop stages, soil nutrition for nearly two years. As she walks the fields she also creates on her Pocket Jill her PCA Recommendations. When she gets back in the office she synchronizes her data and generates her printed PCA Recommendations.

Steve Kawaguchi – Southland Sod
For over 15 years Steve has used Tiger Jill to manage his farming operation. For over a year Steve is creating on his Pocket Jill all his spray jobs as they are being done. Also included in these records is his crew. He also creates various measurement records on his Pocket Jill for later analysis. When Steve synchronizes his Pocket and Tiger Jill he has all he needs to generate his Monthly Chemical Use Report as well as his employee exposure information to monitor blood testing needed.

Doug Singer – Singer Commercial Spraying
For the last 10 years Doug has used Tiger Jill to manage his ground application business. Over the last year Doug creates his applications in Tiger Jill and transfers them to his Pocket Jill daily. In the field he records the completion and adjusts material quantities as needed. Back in the office he synchronizes his data and generates his customer’s invoices.

Jesse Sanchez – Alan Sano Farms
For over 15 years Jesse has used Tiger Jill as the operation manager for Sano Farms. The last two years Jesse records in his Pocket Jill all his chemical and fertilizer applications complete with charges, equipment used and his crew. Jesse also records on his Pocket Jill his irrigation data and cultural activities providing him with an exceptional database for complete farm management. Kelly Morrow – Simonian Farms
For the last 5 years Kelly, as a Pest Control Advisor has been using Tiger Jill to create her recommendations. For the last 2 years Kelly has been using Pocket Jill to record her trap counts and other issues that arise in the orchards. She lists the various pests and diseases found, the crop stages, conditions, etc, creating a diary for each of the blocks.

Shlomo Pleban - Orange Enterprises, Inc.

Developed PDA program for supporting the UC Davis project “Dairy Nutrient Management and Monitoring Incentive Program”. The PDA programs reads data from a Data-logger on water flow as well as receive manual input.

New irrigation software was developed to address irrigator tracking of meters on handheld devices. This system can be included in the Pocket Jill software or as a stand-alone and has data-logger reading capability.

Orange Enterprises is progressing on building a MS SQL client server Tiger Jill system on a .NET platform.

Crop estimates – within the measurement module – new options that allows recording of physical field visits that can be translated to crop estimates.

Orange Enterprises is expanding the Employee Tracking module to incorporate the ability to use bar code scanning and RFID to track employee id numbers, tasks performed as well as other employee information accumulated in the field.

Orange Enterprises has been working with Doane Research and developed a module to facilitate collection of data for research surveys using Web Service.

Orange Enterprises is developing the new equipment module the tracking of maintenance and parts, This will aid in tracking inventory, costs, and other issues.
