New in Tiger PET & Pocket
Tiger - PET & Pocket New Modules 01/01/2005 - 04/15/2007:

Over the last year Orange Enterprises has been engaged in numerous development projects on Tiger, Pocket, PET Tiger and other custom software.

Tiger Jill, Pocket Jill & PET Tiger can synchronize over cellular via smart phones or Wireless devices. Wireless synchronization eliminates delays in field data collection by connection through cellular networks to instantly enter and remotely synchronize field data. The benefit of on-demand reporting of crop status and field operations is automatically obtained through immediate updates to the program in the office without the time, cost, and labor of returning physically to the office to manually enter new information.

New module Material Mixes. A Material Mix is a record of several materials that are applied in the same tank. A Material Mix can be defined in the Material Mix part or from an application using the "Create Mix" menu option. In an application a material mix can be added by using the "Select Mix" menu option.

We build .NET true object-oriented software. Microsoft® .NET is a set of software technologies for connecting information, people, systems, and devices. This new generation of technology is based on Web Service a small building block of applications that can connect to each other as well as to other, larger applications over the internet. We have also been working on incorporating RFID, Blue Tooth, Wi/Fi, bar code scanners and .xml technology.

Employee Tracking
Employee Tracking

Just issue your employee's their own bar coded or RFID badges and kiss manual or other payroll data colection goodbye. Say hello to streamlined paydays and the many other benefits that bar code and RFID technology can bring to your business. Employee Tracking system can also provide you the means of capturing data about your work flow, labor allocation, job costing, inventory utilization, harvest information and many other facets of your business.

CDMS & Orange Enterprises, Inc. - New Joint Integration Via a web service CDMS ChemCheck automatically would check and verify against manufacturer approved label database – recommendation written by Tiger Jill or Pocket Jill. Orange Enterprises, Inc. as well as CDMS would be able to license. New Outlook Export Module: TIGER JILL exports applications with information like materials, measurements, equipment, crew or comments to be imported into Outlook Calendar.
New ModulesIn the last year we have incorporated many new modules and features to the TIGER JILL Program that can improve and increase your management capabilities. Please call the office for more details:
We Are Incorporating New Technology Pocket Jill retrieves data from remote locations with bar code scanning and GPS technology. Through the use of GPS technology, all observation and sampling data is collected with GPS data coordinates. Pocket Jill technology enables the user to scan bar codes to locate the block, automatically record data into the block records, and record specific samples and observations that are taken. All data is collected in an organized and transferable structure that can be used to retrieve accurate data for a specific block.

Pocket JillPocket JILL (TIGER JILL for Handheld Devices.) This is a new program that runs on handheld devices that use Windows CE. The data is entered in the field and then uploaded in the office to a desktop computer. The data can include pesticide application, soil, crop, cultural activity, trap counts, irrigation events, and other variables via the handheld device. At the December Seminar Unveiling of Pocket JILL will take place. Demo of: Data Input as well as Synchronization of Data from Pocket JILL to TIGER JILL. Runing reports from Tiger Jill to Pocket Jill.

Budget ModuleBudget Module: It is used to enter budgetary information for a specified crop. This information includes but is not limited to application charges and material expenditures. Either proposed dollar amounts or actual history dollar amounts (pulls information from previous year’s data) could be used. The budget record is then linked to a season in each block. Reports can be generated showing budgeted amounts versus actual expenditures.

Organic Module:Provides users the ability to input, verify and track certified organic applications and crops. Complete spray history by block with complete Traceability and the ability to transmit the data electronically.

Scheduling Module: allows users to create schedule reports of when chemical applications, plantings, or any other cultural activity will take place.

Irrigation Module:Keeps a record of the use of your precious irrigation resources from a well or district turnout. It records all your water and energy meter readings and costs.Analyze the irrigations and produces reports that show you how much water, energy and expense was actually used in each field, crop, ranch, turnout or well.

Traceability Module: Provides reports and record keeping ability to comply with General Agricultural Practices and commodity export requirements

Planting and Seeding Module: Records and tracks planting or seeding dates, quantities, acreage, etc..

Ground Water Protection: Provides users with the ability to verify if materials can be used on a ground water protected site. A data base of all State sites in the Ground Water Protection Program is available within the Tiger Jill data base for permit verfication.

Accounting Interface:

Accounting Interface: The purpose of the interface module is to facilitate the transfer of general ledger information about material applications, purchases and invoices from TIGER JILL to an accounting program alleviating the need for duplicate data entry. Using the double-entry method of accounting the interface accommodates many different ways of maintaining accounting data on either cash or accrual basis. Preferences allow the user to define if they use classes and sub classes, maintain purchases as an inventory asset or post directly to expense and control how detailed or summarized all the transferred data will be. The interface file can be created either automatically or manually giving its users flexibility to review data before actual import to the general ledger.

The accounting interface accommodates transfer of data for growers, applicators and management companies. Growers are able to transfer costs related to their applications and purchases. Classes or cost centers are based on the user’s block and/or season information. Using classes, subclasses and cost centers, the information transferred can give the user detailed cost accounting reports. Transfer of costs for chemicals used and purchased are managed efficiently. Depending on the accounting software and preferences defined the data can be as detailed or summarized as the user wants. Single line entry totaling all chemicals can be transferred or multiple lines listing the chemical’s name as separate or sub accounts.

Applicators and management companies can transfer their complete accounts receivable information as well as their inventory, cost of goods or material expenses. The interface allows the definition of preferences to determine whether posting is done to just one or multiple accounts for inventory, income, and cost of goods or expense. If the user does not maintain their accounts receivable in the accounting software the interface can transfer just the payment information for posting directly to income. Sales of materials will create the reduction of inventory and an increase to cost of goods as well as the corresponding accounts receivable and income transactions. Transfer of purchase information can be posted directly to an inventory or expense account.

Interface with Famous Interface with Quickbooks

Connectivity: This module is used to connect programs on different computers. It makes it possible to send records from one TIGER JILL user to another like sending PCA recommendation from the PCA computer to the grower's or to the applicator.

Equipment Module: It is used to record and track the use of equipment and tac-time. It is useful for keeping track of equipment maintenance performed and/or service needed using the equipment log. It can generate reports tying equipment cost to specific applications. It can help to make decisions about costly and extensive repairs needed on equipment by maintaining the history of each piece of equipment's repairs.

Employee Exposure:It is used to record and track an employee's exposure to any or all chemicals. The program will then prepare reports about the employee's exposure as required by the CDFA and CAL EPA.
Pesticide handlers who handle organophosphate or N-methyl carbamate insecticides with the signal words Danger or Warning for more than six days in any 30-day period must be under medical supervision. Medical supervision includes monitoring cholinesterase levels. Pesticide handlers are employees who mix, load, or apply pesticides, clean or repair pesticide contaminated equipment, work as flaggers or handle open containers. TIGER JILL can record your employees training records, track exposure details, and with the Organophosphate-Carbamate report generate a scheduling of employees needing blood tests.

Internet Links: This module provides access to material label and MSDS information on the internet with a click of the mouse. This gives quick access to necessary label information when preparing Work Orders, Recommendations or Use Reports.

ingredient analysis:TIGER JILL provides powerful input screens with pull down lookups, direct access from within the application screen allows access to all related tables. TIGER JILL allows active ingredient analysis with its unique capability to balance NPK ratios as well as residue analysis tracking. When dealing with fertilizers TIGER JILL now has a report with the ability to summarize total NPK input within a given time frame.

Multi User: This module has been expanded to provide additional control over users access to different parts of the Program as well as to monetary information in the data and reports.

Harvest analysis:TIGER JILL can record many aspects of your crops’ harvest grade, quality, variety, yield, sugar levels and many other user defined variables with the Harvest and Harvest Analysis modules. Generate comprehensive cost accounting reports. A new report "By Season" gives totals and averages of harvest yield and price in terms of weight yield unit and price for each season.

Spanish Module: It is used to prepare reports in Spanish - WPS lines and warnings can be defined in Spanish and selected reports include Spanish titles. Worker Protection Standard Reports and Work Orders are required to be posted in a format that ALL employees can read. This module can help you to meet that requirement. From practical experience and with the feedback from our users nationwide, we have developed TIGER JILL to be comprehensive yet easy to use, stable in all Windows environments, and quickly becoming the Program of choice for all Agribusinesses.

School Pesticide use Reporting module: Tiger Jill Pesticide Use Reporting and Recordkeeping for the state of California: This action pertains to pesticide use reporting and recordkeeping requirements for licensed pest control businesses for worked performed on public school sites. Pesticide use at school sites shall be reported on "Pesticide Use Report for School Sites" Form PR-ENF-117 (Est. 4/01)

Grower Notification Module – allows user to record when their customer has been notified of impending and/or completed applications, then generate the appropriate Pest Control Notice Report. With a single click of the mouse it will email the report to the customer using Outlook Express.

Material Price Schedule Module - This module provides the ability to mark up or reduce material prices by specified percentages. You can specify a specific Mark up formula by customer or just by invoice. A mark up is calculated on the base price (material cost) divided by 100% less the Mark up percentage [$10.00/(100%-10%)]. Price reductions are calculated by base price less the Mark up percentage [$10.00 - 10%].

Material Billing Module - Retailers, Applicators and management companies’ use this module to invoice their materials sold. When used with the charge-billing module and service charge module users have the ability to maintain ALL accounts receivable functions within TIGER JILL. With the Split Billing module the user can create multiple invoices splitting the materials (and charges) based on percentages defined in the Billing Center Record. Invoices can be created for those materials applied or sold over-the-counter. Material sales can be flagged as pending for creating the Packing Slip at the time of the sale this will reduce inventory but not actually create an invoice. The Sales Ticket is available for use as a packing slip and can include (or not include) selling prices. TIGER JILL has the ability for user’s to (or not to) provide their customers discounts on early payments. They can choose to have these discounts listed on both the invoice and statement reports. When an invoice is paid the user can accept, deny and override automatic discount deductions. The user can also define if discounts are to be calculated on the entire invoice amount, just charges or just materials. With the definition of preferences invoices and statements can be as simple or detailed as the user wants. Many features have been built into preferences to provide reporting compliance for all states including the listing of the materials EPA #’s, pilot and plane information, and worker protection standard information on invoices and statements.

Recommendation Expert Module - The recommendation expert module has been designed to help the user address their recommendation needs - recommendation that can draw knowledge from past experience as well as from data base information. Materials can be displayed for a specific pest problem for a unique crop situation relative to effectiveness and price advantage. The recommendation expert would assist in automatic determination and visualization of relationships among symptoms for building crop protection knowledge base. That knowledge base can be used to perfect and make a more cost effective pesticide application for a given problem.

Spray Calculator Module - The Spray Calculator module will help you establish the data for the calibration of your sprayers, air & ground crop sprayers and fertilizer/powdered chemical applicators.

Via the internet, updates to all aspects of the program, code, reports, help, and database are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
