2. Improving the procedures after a change in operation or person name.

3. Only crops that are included in lookup are included in report selection of the application and the contract.

4. Crop is included in the connectivity files of application and contract.

5. Adding Person type to the person line when pressing the find button in the Person Records.

11. In the spray history module correction of a bug that in the Application Record when a block was not valid and the user changed it to valid the bug changed it back to not valid.

4. In the Payment Record adding the capability of adding all the invoices of a given month by entering "ALL" and the month number in the reference column. For example ALL7 means paying all the invoices of July. When the month number is after the month of the check date the year of the paid invoices is prior to the year of the check dateFor example if the check date is 8/12/99 (Aug 12 1999) and you enter ALL9 the program adds all the invoices of September 1998.

5. Resolving an error message "... ApplicationTypeCounter not found".

6. Removal of the bottom container and number of containers edit items on the application and purchase screens when the preference "select containers" is Y.

7. In Operation Record when operation type is Bank, Manufacturer, Supplier, or Receiving Station Address items are not required.

8. Limiting the units of harvest and reentry intervals to day or hour only.

9. In the Material Record adding the Limit Rate Area Unit. This item determines the area that is used when rates in the limit tab are defined. If the Limit Rate Area Unit is Acre all the rates in the limit tab are per one acre, if the Limit Rate Area Unit is 1000 square feet then all the rates are per 1000 Square feet.

10. With the Ingredient module in the Ingredient Analysis screen when the treated area unit of the application is different than the Major area unit the program adds a column showing the rate for the major area unit.

1. Adding the capability to include a map or not in the work order or PCA Recommendation reports.

Version 3.17 10/2/99

1. In the Measurement Log Screen Adding the Post Harvest Field. This field determines whether the measurement log record refers to a measurement taken after the growth season or not. This field is used to determine to which season a measurement that was taken after the harvest belongs. For example: Cotton was grown between 4/1/98 and 11/1/98, a measurment was taken on 11/5/98. If the measurement is Post Harvest it belongs to the 4/1-11/1 Cotton season. If it is not Post Harvest the measurement belongs to the next growth season.

2. A default for the Measurement Log Post Harvest field was added to the Default Tab of the preferences.

3. Add a program parameter /F that creates files that are missing from the program configuration.

4. Adding procedure to update the season counter in an application when the user changes the season in the Block Record.

Version 3.16 10/1/99

1. Adding an Application Type. This item facilitates the selection of groups of application records in reports, filters and export. For example if you export only part of your applications to a food processor you can set the Application Type of all the applications of the blocks that are going to the processor to the same value and when you export the record use the Type Item to select them. You define the Application Type in the Setup | Types | Application Types. In the Preference Application Tab you may decide whether you want the Type to show on the application screen or not. You may set a default value for the type in the Preferences Default Tab.

2. Add a state selection to the application report specification.

3. After erasing a record the displayed record is the one prior to the erased record.

4. Correction of the error message in the harvest record describing the material that causes a harvest interval violation.

1. Spray History Changes:

1.1 When duplicating records initializing the validity flags.

4. In the Measurement Log changing the "Entry Date" to "Sample Date".

5. Spray History Improvements

A. Verified field in Application and Harvest records may accept the following values:

N - Not Reviewed,

R - Reviewed and No Action Taken,

A - Attempted but grower not reached,

W- Waiting for new transmission,

Y - Verified.

B. Adding to the Season Grid of the Block Record the fields, Valid, Violation and Number of Applications. When you add or modify an application the program checks the validity of the entire season. It uses the estimated harvest date in the season records to assess the validity of the applications. When the user enters a specific harvest record the estimated harvest date in the season is disregarded.

C. If a block line in the application record has valid N and verified Y, you can neither modify the record nor replace it by import.

D. If a harvest record has valid N and verified Y, you can neither modify it nor replace it by import.

6. In the Payment Record improving the speed of selecting invoices to be paid.

7. In the Contract Record adding another date field. The fields are now Entry Date the date the contract was entered and / or signed and Expected Harvest Date The date when the harvest is expected to occur. The Expected Harvest date determines the season associated with the contract.

8. Correction of handling the Connectivity Preference item "Export Reportable Materials Only". Before the correction the program was handling it the opposite to the preference.

9. In Connectivity when the Connectivity Preference is set to Y for "Export Reportable Materials Only" an application is not exported if it does not have any charges and does not have any reportable materials.

 

Version 3.01 7/29/99

1. Adding a procedure to restore the master counters if they are lost in a power failure.

2. Elimination of an error message that the Report.val table is out of date.

Version 3.00 7/27/99

1. Correction of the program behavior when clicking on the screen close button (The x at the top right corner).

2. Adding documentation for the current structure of the program connectivity file. It is found in File|Supervisor|Connectivity File Structure.

3. Improving the way the program handles the importing of a harvest record.

4. Improving the report selections. Those improvements require report version 2.99 and higher.

5. Correction of the way the program is handling seasonal limits by verifying that all previous application block lines have the area unit defined.

7. In the Block Record Season Grid not allowing a change of the first date of the season when an application is associated with the existing season.

8. Correction a bug that did not allow some of the selections of the items in the application screen like selecting by employee.

9. In the application record if the completion date is empty then the first time you enter a block completion date the program enters that date to the application Completion date.

10. In the application record if the completion time is empty then the first time you enter a block completion time the program enters that time to the application Completion time. This is done only if the application completion date is the same as the block completion time.

11. Correcting the way the program handles the updating of records when using the Filter mode.

12. Improving and correcting of the program and reports for the Commission Records and Commission Payments.

Version 2.95 6/21/99

1. With the harvest module counting the number of applications when adding a new Harvest Record.

2. When importing a Harvest Record adding the validity checking.

3. Adding a message at the bottom of the main screen with the current number of Applications, Sites, Blocks and Owners.

4. Adding an option to consider a partial application when checking if the accumulated rate of applications meets the maximum Total per season. The option is set in Preference|Verification Tab in the item Partial Application Considered One For Maximum Total Limit. If only 2 acres are treated out of a planted area of 10 acres are treated at a rate of 1 oz per acre it is considered as 0.2 oz per acre for the limit calculation if the item is set to N or as 1 oz per acre if it is set to Y.

5. Changing the term Directory to Folder to reflect current Windows terminology.

 

Version 2.94 5/12/99

1. Changing the control file to read only.

2. Adding the Golf Module which includes the following items:

2.1 Adding the Feature Type screen: This screen defines the Golf course features like Green, Tee, Rough etc.

2.2 Adding a new operation type of "Course". The owner is then referred to as Course.

2.3 The site in the golf module is referred to as Feature and and can only be named using a predefined feature type.

3. Changes in the preferences to allow a definition of very long paths for directories like backup, import or export.

4. Adding to the Block Record a crop counter and a variety counter to be used with the Golf Module.

5. Adding the capability of customizing the icons through the Preferences|Icon Tab.

6. Adding the help items to the Preferences Screen.

7. Changes in the Block Record: Adding a comment field and change in the tab order of the fields.

8. Change in the Connectivity File structure that reflects the change in the Block Record.

9. Changes in the Application Record: Adding a Start time field.

10. Change in the Connectivity File structure that reflects the change in the Application screen.

11. In the application screen addition of validity checks to verify that the date/time of the completion is at or later than the proposed date/time and to verify that in each block line the date/time of the completion is at or later than the start date/time.

12. In the Preference|Report Tab change in the item order and added the items "Include Block Details" in the monthly report which determines whether the monthly report includes the block deails if the Mulit Block Module is included in the database, and "Group Blocks By Site" in the Work Order or PCA which changes the way block information appears in those reports.

13. Adding the item in the Preference|General Tab to include the GPS items in the block screen. It applies to the block and site screens.

Version 2.93 5/12/1999

1. Adding a check mark to Invoice Records to enable the program to create service charge invoices that will not be included in the calculation of future service charges.

2. Adding E-mail or Zip options to the Connectivity Module.

3. Improving the Statement reports.

Version 2.92 4/20/1999

1. Adding the capability to append records to an existing export file.

2. Adding the option of opening the screen of a new part with a new record entry mode. This option is determined by answering Y to the option "Start parts With a New Record Entry Mode" in the General Tab of the Preferences. When the screen is in the new Record Entry Mode its color is bright Green.

3. Adding a price list report to the material and the charge parts.

Version 2.91 3/26/99

1. Changes in the Connectivity procedures to export the total fields.

2. Improving the speed of the importing procedure.

3. Add the ability to not use the icons of the program. It is defined in the Preferences General Tab with the "Use Icons" option.

4. Improving the way the program handles the addition of records in a Novell network configuration to allow immediate refresh of the records.

5. In a text field that has a load button, the program appends the existing text with the newly loaded text. If you want the loaded text to replace the existing text you must first press the Clear button.

6. Adding the program parameter /A that makes it possible to create new tables when they are missing from the database.

7. Add procedures to correct the amount paid in the invoices and commissions.

8. Adding the History module. This module makes it possible to enter applications that are not valid for the purpose of recording the accurate history of applications. It allows the setting of History Mode in the Verfication tab of the preferences.

Version 2.90 3/24/99

1. Improving the Report Specification screen. When there are no selections made (ALL is chosen) the clear all button does not show.

2. In Report Specification adding the capability of excluding records from the report

3. Adding error checks when the program is importing a file, the checks do not allow import of records that are missing required fields.

4. Adding the capability of importing Orange Enterprise's Records.

5. In the Connectivity Tab of the preferences adding the following items. Import Only Complete Records: If this item has a Y for Yes the program will not import records that are missing required items when no confirmation is required like Operation Type in the Operation Record. An error message will be issued in the error file. Import Only Valid Records: If this item has a Y for Yes the program will not import records that do not pass a record specific validity check. An error message will be issued in the error file.

6. Adding the capability to select records in report, export and filter by look up selection. This applies to Material Records, Pest Records and Crop Records.

Version 2.87 3/08/99

1. Adding an option to consider a partial application when checking if the number of applications meets the maximum number of applications per season. The option is set in the Preferences Verification Tab in the item Partial Application Considered One For Maximum Number Of Application Limit. If only 2 acres are treated out of a planted area of 10 acres it is considered as 0.2 application if the item is set to N or as 1 full application if it is set to yes.

2. In the Material Record Limits Tab if the maximum rate of a crop is set to 0 the user is not allowed to use the material even if it is registered to the crop.

3. Relaxing the validity checks for materials that are of a type that is not reportable like fertilizers. In the material record, EPA ID, Toxicity, DOT ID and DOT placard are not required. In the application record the program does not check for crop registration.

4. Correction of a bug that froze the program when it attempted to do a backup on exit to a zip drive.

5. Adding the capability to define the planted area in the California official reports from the Block Season Grid. The official reports are the Monthly, NOI-USE, Modem Transfer, and PCA Recommendation. It is done by defining the planted area in the Site Record as 0. In the monthly report the sites are grouped by the site ID from the Block Season Grid.

7. In the spray history module adding a color for a line where the validity flag of N has been changed to a Y by the fieldman.

8. In the Application Record adding procedures to handle the inclusion of blocks that use different area units like blocks using acres and other blocks using 1000 sqft. The first block entered determines which unit is used. If the Application area unit (at the bottom of the block grid) is changed all the units are changed. If the Application area units is changed to a unit that is not an area unit (Like Trees) the value of the different blocks are not changed.

9. Moved check training from the Application Tab to the Verification Tab of the preferences.

10. Correction of a bug that caused an access violation when choosing "Selected" in a report specification screen accessed from the Report Main Menu item.

11. Added a Training Detail report to the Training Module. This report groups by the employee all the training session that he/she attended with details and the materials they were trained for.

12. In the Connectivity module, correction of a bug that when the default import directory was a floppy drive gave an IO error message 103.

13. In the Connectivity module when confirming the saving of the records a press on the Close button will terminate the import at that point and stop the importing of the remaining records.

14. Correction of a bug that did not allow entry of email addresses in the phone grid of the Person Record and the Operation Record.

15. Adding password protection to zip files created by the program

1. Adding an exception handling when Animation is not recognized.

Version 2.85 2/26/99

1. In the Block Record Season Grid, change in the area unit (for example acres to square foot) triggers a recalculation of the area based on the new unit.

2. The area unit in the Block Record is displayed as the name not the symbol.

Version 2.84 2/12/99

1. Addition of a comment column to the phone grid of the Person Record and the Operation Record

2. Correction of dependent checks when deleting unit type, and person records.

3. Verifying that the delete button appears when deletion is allowed.

4. In the Connectivity tab of the preference adding the following options: Export Orange Records: It determines if records provided by Orange are exported. Export non reportable materials: It determine if lines in the materials grids that are not reportable are exported.

5. With the spray history module Allowing the verified field to be either Y, N, or Empty. Empty means that the fieldman did not view the record. When he views it and contacts the grower he sets it to N.

6. With the spray history module improvement of the harvest record checks.

7. Adding checks to prevent the user when in the block record from deleting seasons that have harvest records, and when in the crop record from deleting stages that have analysis records

8. Improvement of the importing procedure. The program now imports all the valid records and skips the invalid ones. When it encounters invalid records it writes them with

an explanatory error message to an error file that can be viewed at the end of the import.

Version 2.83 2/8/99

1. Adding the capability of defining the report specifications by typing in the Report Type box. Before you could only select from a drop down menu.

2. In the application Report Specification, adding the capability of selecting by variety.

3. Correction of a bug that did recalculate the material amounts after a change in the unit when N is the value of Recompute after Unit Change in the General Tab of the preferences.

4. Adding a color selection in the Preference Colors Tab for a read only field.

1. Adding the program parameter /U that makes it possible to do an internet update without reading a data base.

2. Correction of a bug of Key violation when adding a limit after adding a crop reentry and harvest to a material record responding to an error message in the application screen.

Version 2.80 1/22/99

1. Adding to Application Block Grid the Validation status and Disposition Status fields.

2. Changing all the graphic fields to size 1 to make sure that new tables can be created from within the program from scratch without the need for tables to have to be provided by Orange Enterprises.

3. Adding the capability of displaying the map of the PCA Recommendation or the Work Order on a separate page. This is determined by a question in the Preference Report Tab.

4. Moving the message of updating tables during the loading of the program to the top of the screen to prevent the situation where it looks as if the program has frozen.

5. Adding the Filter Button to the input screens.

6. Adding the Export Button to the input screens.

7. Correction of a bug in the modem transfer report.

8. Improving the Update Program to version 1.07 to correct tables that had their primary index out of date. Instead of Pack Tables the menu item is now "Correct Tables".

9. Adding an error trap to prevent an older version of the program from corrupting a newer version of the data.

10. Making a color distinction between records that are being added (after pressing the new key) Records in a filtered data base and other records.

11. Adding a Color Preference Screen.

12. Changes in the connectivity file.

12.1 A new line was added that gives the version of the exporting program it is the third line.

12.2 Handling of the Memo, Graphics and RichEdit fields was changed. They will all be included as a regular field between the connectivity qualifier. If they include an End Of Line Marker (ASCII 13) it is replaced by .<#>. string.

13. Add the capability to create a new line in memo fields by pressing the Ctrl Enter key. (Pressing the Enter key itself will advance the user to the next input field).

14. In Report, Filter and Export selection adding a selection of Yes/No fields for inclusion.

15. Adding a Clear button to images and text fields thus allowing you to make changes to the Header, Footer,and Logo fields.
