Orange Enterprises, Inc., provides software solutions for thousands of Agribusiness and Urban customers ranging across California and the globe, developing custom and off-the-shelf software. Data Input OptionsThe Application Record of TIGER JILL is the heart of the program. The major functionality of the Program comes from the input into this one screen. The program comes with a vast library of materials, active ingredients, pests, units, WPS warnings, crops, and more. From the Application Record you can access and create all other records needed for completion. On-the-fly entry is simple and fast. Through the selection of lookups all these records are tied together to manage government reporting, tracking and analysis of costs, produce invoices and commissions, track employee exposure and much more.
Charges can be used two ways. With the billing module it records and calculates the charges to your customers. Without the billing module you can record your application, cultivation, pruning, irrigation, or any other costs. The charge record allows two types of charges. The first is based on the number of acres (rate times number of acres times cost) and the other is a fixed cost (one times the cost.) With the billing module you have available a pricing schedule that allows you to define different prices for different customers, distances, or variances. Ideal for when you give customers different rates based on loyalty or distances. Once select the rest of the charge grid fills in based on number of acres etc. For billing users the field charged and commissioned (also requires the commission module) are read only. They are set in the charge type record. The program is flexible enough to allow some charges be subject to pilot commissions while others are not.
Measurements related to an application are recorded for printing on various reports. Selection of air temperature, wind direction, and wind velocity are popular for customer’s invoices and statements. Other measurements such as soil conditions can also be recorded.
The crew tab allows you to select all employees that were involved in the application for purposes of chemical exposure. For users with the commission module you would record the pilot/employee and their part/rate for pay. The employees selected will also print on Work Orders; pilots will print on invoices if the preferences have been set. It is also possible through preferences (with the training module) to verify if an employee has received proper training on the materials being used in the application.
With the equipment module, equipment records can be maintained as well and tied to applications for cost analysis. Equipment selected will also appear on the invoice if the preference has been selected. There are many reports available for calculation of plane and employee combinations. Beyond the application it is possible to maintain service history on all your equipment through the program.
Many comments can be added to the application to appear on different reports. The first comment appears on the invoice if the preference has been selected or is just there for your own reference. The NOI comment appears in the special instructions of the NOI Report. The PCA or Work Order comments will appear in the special instructions of those reports. Using a notepad program you can create a library of self-defined comments that are available to you at a click of the mouse.
With the Grower Notification Module: allows user to record when their customer has been notified of impending and/or completed applications, then generate the appropriate Pest Control Notice Report. With a single click of the mouse it will email or fax the report to the customer using Outlook Express.
