A sample of some Error Messages

Application Error Checking:

1. Condition The block grid of the application record contains one or more blocks and you add a new block which grows a crop that is different from the crop that is grown by all the other blocks that were entered so far to the block grid. Error Message You cannot add a block with Wheat. Common Crop is Alfalfa.' CANCEL Restore the previous value. RETRY Change manually to a different value.

2. Condition You enter a treated area that is greater than the planted area of the block's current season. In some situations, you treat more more than the planted area, in other situations you are treating the trees in the field and their number is greater than the planted area. You may ignore this message. You may also change the units of Total Treated Area and the program will not perform the check.

Error Message The Treated Area : 200 is greater than the LIMIT (the block planted area: 125 acres). OK Change Block Treated Area to the limit. CANCEL Restore the previous value. RETRY Change manually to a different value. IGNORE Ignore the limit. Possible Solutions: A. If you click on the OK button the program will change the treated area to the planted area. In the example above it will change it to 125 acres. B. If you click on the IGNORE button the program will disregard the limit and keep the current value.

3. Condition In the Material Grid you add a new material that is not registered for use on a crop that is treated in this application. This condition may also arise when the Block Grid is empty and the Material Grid has one or more materials. You add a block that grows a crop that is not registered for a material in the Material Grid. A crop is considered registered when the material has a reentry date or harvest date in the CropsTab of the Material Record. Error Message .10-12-00(rna) is not registered for Alfalfa of this block. If registered, add it in the CROPS TAB of the Material record. OK Open and Change Lookup Record CANCEL Restore the previous value Retry Change manually to a different value Possible Solutions: A. If you click on the OK button the program will open the material record where you can register the crop. B.The supervisor of the program may limit the rights of the user to change the crop registration. This is done through preferences

4. Condition After you have entered a block or more to the Block Grid, You change the Proposed Start Date. This puts the Start Date in a previous season of one of the treated blocks that has a different crop then the common crop. For example the common crop is Alfalfa but previous season was Wheat. Error Message You cannot change the Proposed Start Date since the crop of the corresponding season of CMT-7a is Wheat. Common Crop is Alfalfa. RETRY Change manually to a different value CANCEL Restore the previous value

5. Condition After you have entered a block or more to the Block Grid, You remove the Proposed Start Date. Error Message Since you have entered blocks you must define the Proposed Start Date RETRY Change manually to a different value CANCEL Restore the previous value

6. Condition You change the Block Completion Date. This puts the application in a previous season of the treated block that has a different crop than the common crop. For example the common crop is Alfalfa but previous season was Wheat. Error Message You cannot use this Completion Date since the crop of the corresponding season of Block1 is Wheat.Common Crop is Alfalfa. RETRY Change manually to a different value CANCEL Restore the previous value

7. Condition You are trying to move to a new line in the block grid without defining the Block Treated Area Error Message You Must Define The Block Treated Area The Block Treated Area should default to the value setup in the Block Record. If you have a different total than the default you can enter that too.

8. Condition You enter a material in the Applicaton Material Tab that is restricted and has not already been setup on the Permit Grid of the Site Record. Error Message Lim Test 1 is Restricted and is not in the permit of CMT-7.' Retry Change manually to a different material. Possible Solutions. If in permit, add it in the Site Record,' or select a different block or change the crop in the site.

9. Condition You enter a material with a harvest interval number of days that based on the application date extends beyond the harvest date setup in the Block Season Grid. Error Message Retry Change manually to a different material. Possible Solutions: A. Use a different material B. Remove the harvest date from the Block Season Grid. C. Change the harvest interval in the Material Crop Tab. D. Remove the block from the Application Block Grid.

10. Condition You have entered a material in the Application Material Tab that with this application has exceeded the maximum number of units allowed for the season as setup in the Material Limits Tab. Error Message Retry Change manually to a different material. Possible Solutions: A. Change the material used. B. Change the limits defined in the Material Limits Tab-Maximum Season Total. C. Change the block in the Application Block Grid. D. The supervisor can setup in the Preference-Verification Tab to Allow Ignoring Limits

11. Condition You have entered a material in the Application Material Tab that with this application has exceeded the maximum number of applications allowed for the season as setup in the Material Limits Tab. Error Message Retry Change manually to a different material. Possible Solutions: A. Change the material used. B. Change the limits defined in the Material Limits Tab-Per Season Maximum Number. C. Change the block in the Application Block Grid. D. The supervisor can setup in the Preference-Verification Tab to Allow Ignoring Limits

12. Condition You have entered a rate for the material in the Application Material Tab that is more than the maximum limit setup in the Material Limits Tab. Error Message OK Changes the Applicaton Rate to the Limit setup in the Material Limits Tab Cancel Restores the previous value. Retry Manually change to another value Possible Solutions: A. Change the material used. B. Change the limits defined in the Material Limits Tab-Maxium Rate C. Change the block in the Application Block Grid. D. The supervisor can setup in the Preference-Verification Tab to Allow Ignoring Limits

13. Condition You have entered a rate for the material in the Application Material Tab that is less than the minimum limit setup in the Material Limits Tab. Error Message OK Changes the Applicaton Rate to the Limit setup in the Material Limits Tab Retry Manually change to another value

14. Condition You have entered a dilution volume in the material grid of the Application Material Tab that is less than the limit setup in the Material Limits Tab. Error Message Ok Changes the Dilution Rate to the Limit setup in the Material Limits Tab Cancel Restores the previous value. Retry Change manually to a different value.

15. Condition You enter an employee in the Crew Tab of the Application Record that does not have a corresponding Training Record for that material. Error Message Cancel Removes the name from the Grid Line Retry Change manually to a different person. Possible Solutions: 1. Add a Training Record of the material and the person 2. In the Preference General Tab set the program to not check for training. 3. Replace the person with someone who has a valid Training Record.

16. Condition In an Application Record you either skipped the Completion Date or deleted it prior to deleting the Completion Time. Error Message OK Will allow you to reenter the Completion Date Possible Solutions Delete all Completion Times before trying to delete the Completion Dates.
