ROY LEVEL 1 was developed to assist irrigators in their water conservation efforts by basing their irrigation decisions on crop water use. It was written to make the advances in personal computing and crop related irrigation scheduling available, at a reasonable price, to anyone who can benefit from them in the agricultural and the urban sector.
ROY runs on the IBM PC compatible machines using MS-DOS 3.1 and higher. It requires 640K of RAM memory, hard disk and a graphics card (CGA, EGA, VGA or Hercules).
ROY LEVEL 1 is a simplification of the ROY family of irrigation scheduling programs that was aimed at agricultural users for maximum production.
Two versions of the program are available, the Agricultural Version and the Urban Version.
