Pocket JILL - (TIGER JILL for Handheld Devices.) This is a new program that runs on handheld devices that use Windows CE. The data is entered in the field and then uploaded in the office to a desktop computer. The data can include pesticide application, soil, crop, cultural activity, trap counts, irrigation events, and other variables via the handheld device.

Orange Enterprises has launched a new web-based application that will allow users to enter and accumulate data. You can run our web application on your existing server and your internal network. If you have more than one office you can connect them to your main server using the Internet or private leased lines. Data to Web Jill can be entered from Pocket Jill, Tiger Jill or inputted directly. Web Jill is web-based, so all you need is an internet browser. Web Jill incorporates all the functionality of Tiger Jill including on-the-fly entry of data and drop-down lookups.

When using P.E.T. Tiger or Pocket Jill in a remote location the Tiger Relay program will allow the user to send as well as receive data. Via a remote PC with an internet connection the Relay Program would facilitate transactions linking the handheld to your server in the office.
If you have a handheld with an internet connection or a cell card you can communicate with your office computer or server at all times.
Tiger Jill, Pocket Jill & PET Tiger can synchronize over cellular via smart phones or Wireless devices. Wireless synchronization eliminates delays in field data collection by connection through cellular networks to instantly enter and remotely synchronize field data. The benefit of on-demand reporting of crop status and field operations is automatically obtained through immediate updates to the program in the office without the time, cost, and labor of returning physically to the office to manually enter new information.
Virtual Private Network (VPN)
Tiger Jill & PET Tiger can run on a virtual private network, VPN is a private communications network often used by
companies or organizations, to communicate confidentially over a public network.
VPN traffic can be carried over a public networking infrastructure (e.g. the Internet) on top of standard protocols,
or over a service provider's private network with a defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) between the VPN customer
and the VPN service provider. A VPN can send data (e.g., voice, data or video, or a combination of these media)
across secured and encrypted private channels between two points.
