system utilizes the popular PocketPC powered handheld
devices using drop-down menus and barcode scanners. Collect data in the field
as you sample for plant and soil moisture, plant, vine or tree growth and
development, pests and natural enemies, and take samples for yield estimates
and pre-harvest quality measures such as brix levels
in vineyards. The handheld devices can be equipped with state-of-the-art
technology, such as real-time GPS input, through GPS receivers using
Bluetooth, CompactFlash or other interfaces.
